Case Manager I – Transitional Housing Program
Provide youth and young mothers with
living arrangements, case management services, and preparation for
independent living.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform
all essential duties and responsibilities satisfactory. Bachelor's
degree (B.A. B.S.) from four-year college or university; or one to two
years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience. Driving is a requirement of the job. Valid
California drivers license with access to a personal vehicle that can be
used for company business. Current personal automobile insurance.
Depending on experience and Education. Benefits include paid medical,
dental and life, LTD, cafeteria plan, retirement plan, 403(b) program
and very generous Personal Time Off Plan.

Residential
Counselor
The
Residential Counselor cares for youth housed in Quetzal House or the
Residential Shelter by performing the following duties. Some awake
overnight and weekend coverage may be required.
Assist in screening, evaluation and orientation of homeless youth.
Handle crisis phone calls and occasional walk-in crisis
situations. Provide individual and group counseling to residents.
Complete
weekly and monthly program reports. Maintain and dispense
appropriate medications. Input client data into computer
system. Oversee AFDC applications for client funding.
Prepare youth each morning and ensure youth are dressed, fed and ready
for school or other activity. Gives instructions to youth
regarding desirable health and personal habits. Plans and leads
recreational activities and participates or instructs youth games.
Discipline youth and recommend or initiate other measures to control
behavior. Escort youth to designated activities.

Relief Residential Counselor
Runaway and Homeless Youth Shelter
Provides youth supervision, individual and group counseling, and
support services for youth. BA degree from four year college or
university or one to two years related experience or training and
experience working with adolescents preferred. Salary is $11.50/hour.

Grant
Writer
Writes grants to governmental agencies, private foundations and
corporations to raise funds for Bill Wilson Center’s services and
programs.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; and two
years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience. Should exhibit strong writing skills and have
a high level command of grammar and spelling. Knowledge of and comfort
with databases and MS office. Ability to manage timelines and work
independently. Knowledge of California foundations and corporate
community, especially those who invest in youth programs, is desirable.
Depending on experience plus full benefits including medical, dental,

Office
Assistant – MediCal
Receives
callers at establishment, determines nature of business, and directs
callers to destination, greets clients, completes paperwork to open
cases in MediCal Unicare system. Supports program manager and staff also
performs other administrative functions.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform
all essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. Excellent
computer, writing and communication skills required. Courteous phone
manner is essential as well as attention to detail. Bi-lingual
communication skills (English/Spanish) required. MediCal experience
required. Depending on experience plus full benefits package including
