ANNOUNCEMENT
JOB TITLE:
Depending on experience plus full benefits package including medical, dental, life, LTD, cafeteria plan, retirement plan, plus a very generous Personal Time Off Plan.
SUMMARY and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives
callers at establishment, determines nature of business, and directs callers to
destination, greets clients, completes paperwork to open cases in MediCal
Unicare system. Supports program
manager and staff also performs other administrative functions by performing the
following duties:

Answers phone calls, screen calls and appropriately
directs calls to correct staff.
·
Greets clients and checks their appointment times
and notifies appropriate staff
·
Assists in the completion of MediCal paperwork
insuring that it is filled out correctly
·
Submits all MediCal paperwork to Symed in a timely
manner
·
Insures all MediCal paperwork e.g. SRD’s, opening,
closing, changes are completed and correct
·
Checks client’s mediCal status on a monthly basis
to insure they have mediCal
·
Ability to input entry into the Unicare System
·
Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other
documents.
·
Makes future appointments, make reminder calls to
clients and answer inquiries.
·
Assists with typing, making copies, word processing,
and other data entry as needed.
·
Collects and distributes mail and messages.
·
Putting together, filing and pulling charts.
·
Assist in chart audits
·
Supports Psychiatrist with pulling charts,
completion of SRD’s, rescheduling appointments per doctor’s requests and
calling client’s to remind them of appointments
·
Attend County meetings regarding UniCare.
SUMMARY and
RESPONSIBILITIES (cont.):
·
Insure monthly billing is in on time, signed by
appropriate staff and sent to County in a timely manner.
·
Keep records of all staff’s PARCA’s, licenses,
O.I.G. paperwork and Symed’s paperwork.
·
Maintain monthly productivity report on all staff.
·
Performs variety of other clerical duties as
assigned to support the program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must
be able to perform all essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
Excellent computer, writing and communication skills required.
Courteous phone manner is essential as well as attention to detail.
Bi-lingual communication skills (English/Spanish) required.
MediCal experience required.
